Terms of Sale

Who we are. Agent Guardrails is the trading name of a sole trader established in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@agentguardrails.app. The trader's legal name and postal address are provided on request by email and appear on every invoice and contract. Not VAT registered.

What these terms cover. Sales of the "Agent Guardrails Team Pack", a digital download, through Gumroad. Services are covered by the Service Agreement summary below.

Who sells to you. Gumroad acts as Merchant of Record and processes payment and tax. Its terms also apply to your purchase. We provide the product and support.

Price. £24 total, including any applicable tax shown at checkout. We do not charge VAT.

What you get. 8 additional policy packs, CLAUDE.md templates, a 10-page playbook and 30 days of email support from purchase. Digital only.

Licence. You may use the files within one purchasing organisation, up to 25 developers, and modify them. You may not resell, redistribute or publish them. The free plugin is licensed separately under MIT.

Delivery. A download link is available immediately after payment.

Your right to cancel. For digital content you have 14 days to cancel, but you lose that right once you download and have agreed at checkout. See the Refund Policy.

Faulty or not as described. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you have legal remedies. Contact us first.

No guarantees of security. The pack reduces risk. It does not guarantee that an AI agent will never cause harm or that your systems are secure. You are responsible for your own review, backups and access controls.

Liability. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything the law does not allow. Otherwise our total liability for the pack is limited to the price you paid. We are not liable for indirect or business losses.

Changes. We may update the pack or these terms. The version at purchase applies to your order.

Complaints. Email hello@agentguardrails.app. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

Governing law. England and Wales. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland keep rights in their local courts.

Service Agreement summary

Applies to the productized services: agent-ready repo setup, custom MCP server, Zapier/Make to n8n migration. The written quote is the contract and prevails.

Scope. Fixed, as listed in the quote. Anything not listed is out of scope. Extra work needs a new written quote.

Price and payment. Fixed price as quoted, VAT not charged (not VAT registered). 50% deposit before work starts. Remainder invoiced on delivery, due in 14 days. Late payment interest as allowed by law.

Timeline. Working days start when we have the deposit and the access and materials listed in the quote. Delays on your side move the dates.

Your responsibilities. Provide accurate information, access and a named contact. Review deliverables in 5 working days. Keep your own backups. Confirm you have the right to give us access.

AI use and review. We use AI agents to produce work and a human reviews all deliverables. See the services page.

Intellectual property. You own the deliverables created for you once you pay in full. Until then we license them to you for evaluation. We keep our own pre-existing tools, templates and know-how, and give you a licence to use any included in the deliverables. Because deliverables may include common boilerplate that AI tools generate, we make no promise of exclusivity or uniqueness over that generic material. We may reuse general knowledge and non-confidential techniques.

Confidentiality. We keep your confidential information private and use it only for the work. We delete your access credentials at handover.

Warranty. We will perform the work with reasonable skill and care. We will fix defects reported within 14 days of delivery that do not match the agreed scope. We do not warrant that software will be error-free or secure.

Limitation of liability. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury from negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data.

Termination. Either side may end the agreement for serious breach. Fees for work done are payable.

Governing law. England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
